On the far right of the map is St Helens Tannery with the blue coloured pits containing various liquids for curing hides into leather, but then emptying the foul liquid into Bitter Beck. Nearby is Pinfold which is where stray farm animals were kept until claimed, Pinfold Close by St Helens Street commemorates this. Pinfolds were found in many villages, Brigham, Lorton. Deer Orchard is now the name of the housing estate. On the left of the map is Tute Hill Tumulus.
