1887 bridges were built;

1 Quaker Bridge;

2 Victoria Bridge (Jubilee Bridge);

3 Waterloo Bridge;

4 Waste Lane;

5 Harris Bridge now called Millers Bridge. It was built in 1875, at first, only for Harris employees to use. In 1873 The Weavers Arms on “Below Bridge” ie Main Street, was demolished to make Bridge Street to give easier access over the Derwent via to the new footbridge for Harris Mill employees.
