Market Place The Old Hall in the foreground was demolished in 1974 along with other buildings in the Market Place that were either demolished to make way for the car par, or the facade facing the Market Place was kept and rebuilt behind. Note that on the north side of Market Place the buildings have been retained even though some of the yards behind were demolished. Note the Castle has towers and parts intact. c 1960
